Fairfax, Va.- Billy Martin and Mark Cartella advanced in the opening round of the 2007 CAA Wrestling Championships on Friday, March 2. They are slated to wrestle in the second round later in the day.
Martin defeated Rider's Matt Bradley 13-2 at 133 pounds while Mark Cartella defeated his brother, Chris, 6-2 at 149 pounds. Brian Stouffer lost his opening match at 184 pounds to fifth-seeded Corey Waite, 3-1. The other seven Drexel entrants had byes in the opening round.
